Hiya! I go by BlueIllu, but you can call me Blue. I define my artstyle as bright and playful, and enjoy using the full spectrum of color in my pieces when I can. I hope to bring joy with each line I make (and spend hours redoing, damn perfectionism!).I have a special love for birds so you may see them all over the place in my art but I am also inspired by fantasy and the various games I play, though my backlog for both grows ever endless by the day.I am based in Richmond, Virginia and have showcased a number of custom-made Magic the Gathering tokens at the card and game stores throughout the area under my former artist name CreatureToken.As BlueIllu, I look forward to creating even more lively pieces for the community in my area as well as online.

By commissioning me, you are accepting these TERMS OF SERVICE. Please read them carefully.The TERMS OF SERVICE can change at any time without notice and applies to any upcoming, in progress and delivered commissions.You MUST be 18 years old or older to order a commission.
- Terms of Use -
I am the owner of the product. I have full rights to use it as a portfolio piece or in social media posts highlighting my work.You are allowed to use it for personal uses. This includes:
Using the product in your personal Social Media (Using it as a profile picture or cover; Posting and Sharing it). Please give credit and link back to my website or social media if shared.
Cropping, Resizing, and Slight edits of the product.
Printing the product and making personal goods. (Posters, Stickers, Mouse Pads, for example).
What is Strictly Prohibited:
Highly edit the product. (Recolor, paint over it, crop it and rework the cropped section, etc.)
Erase or delete my logo from the product.
Using the product for commercial or for-profit purposes (Using it on Business or Advertising, either physical and digital), either complete or part of it.
Creating, Distributing and/or Selling merchandising either from the complete product or part of it.
Feeding or uploading to, Manipulating or any kind of processing with AI tools.
- Prices and Payment -
All prices listed in my Commission Tables and in my VGen profile are base. Final price may vary depending on complexity, detail, number of characters, etc.Final price will be defined after a quote. Quotes are free, so feel free to request a quote for your idea.Complex or Additional Characters, Objects (Props) and Backgrounds have an additional cost, going from 20% up to 80% the base price of the commission each, calculated by my own criteria based on workload.Full payment upfront is required. Your commission will be started and put in my work queue after the payment is done.
- Refund Policy -
No refunds will be issued after the first stage of each kind of commission has been reached and the update has been provided.A refund of 75% will be issued if the commission is canceled before the first update. Any transaction fee (Paypal fees, for example) is the responsibility of the customer.A refund of 100% will be issued if I expressly become unavailable to finish your commission, no matter what stage has been reached.Your Commission Request will be Held only for a month after you make it. The payment must be fully done after this period ends, otherwise your Request will be declined and no refunds will be issued.

Every digital commission starts on Vgen officially, but I can also take requests via X, Bluesky, Etsy, and Discord. For MTG token commissions, please contact me on Etsy.

Once you have reached out, you can tell me about the type of commission you want and the idea you have in mind. Be as descriptive as you can, and provide visual references if you have them. All quotes are free.I reserve the right to decline a commission request without any explanation.
Character Art Commissions
This is a cell-shaded art piece that focuses on original characters.Base service includes the drawing of one (1) character from bust-mid-to full body based on the request with a simple background. (Gradient or with geometric shapes)Extra character cost - ADD 50% to 80% of the base price per character.Semi-Detailed Background IE landscape or detailed location - ADD 20% to 50% of the base price.
NO heavy armor, mecha, or heavily sexualized scenarios.
The process for a Character Art Commission consists of 3 stages:
--STAGE 1: Concept Sketch.--This is the general image I have of your requested idea. It is a very rough sketch and will give you a general vision on how the final result will look.I may make more than one Concept Sketch for a given commission.Any discarded Concept Sketch is not delivered and its use in any form is strictly prohibited.Changes in this stage can include the creation of a completely new Concept Sketch.--STAGE 2: Line Art and Flats--This double checks that the colors are satisfactory before going into the rendering stage.Only small changes from here are included for free with the commission.--STAGE 3: Delivery--Your piece is ready! I’ll send it to you through the Vgen System for confirmation before sending it compressed in a ZIP file.Note: Changes in this stage are charged as extra.

- Delivery -
Every commission will be delivered through the VGEN platform. If for some reason it is not working, files can be zipped and sent to clients via Email.Completed Commissions will be kept on my hard drive indefinitely. If you require the files again, please contact me.Estimated Delivery time for each commission is three to four weeks max but you may receive the commission much earlier. The extra time allotted is to allow for other activities that take up my time and energy, such as working, doing other commissions, and partaking in life.If the delivery exceeds 4 weeks, a 100% refund will be given.
